"If you are a history buff the Visitors Bureau building located on the square in downtown Chambersburg is a must see. It is a completely beautifully renovated older bank building. Professionally created review of the local history of Chambersburg and surrounding areas."
"This office is very knowledgeable about the area and what to do while in town- visiting or living. Their website is great and easy to navigate and find attractions in the area. As a resident of Chambersburg, it's even a great tool / resource!"
"I live in Chambersburg, and have visited here several times. It would be of special interest to anyone who has ever lived in this area, moved away, and would like to see a new museum which Chambersburg has developed to highlight its history and current attractions. Of general interest to any history buffs, there is information on the burning of Chambersburg during the Civil War and how John Brown's history intersects with Franklin County. There are many interesting exhibits and a small gift shop. Someone is always on duty during operating hours to answer questions and assist with maps and directions. From the Visitors Bureau, which is right in the downtown area where you can take an interesting walking tour, and not too far from Gettysburg and other historical areas."
